XXX party weekend
First off, you sick bastard XXX means thirty, cause I turned thirty, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Here is what I stole from Kendric's journal
"So... I had an incredibly sweet birthday weekend.
Friday night we went and saw "Jet Li's Fearless" which was pretty decent. Good fighting, great costumes and sets... the story tended a bit too much towards Chinese propaganda for my taste (which leads into the question "What is propaganda?" but I'll do that in a different post) but was otherwise quite good. After that we went back to C&P's to chat for a bit and then went home.
Saturday I got up bright and early for a dentist appt. No cavities, I even got a compliment on how well I've been taking care of my teeth. Always good. :)
Saturday afternoon was sushi lunch at sushi moto. The sushi was quite tasty. I had hamachi, toro, and some kappa maki. (It's crazy urox, I'm actually eating and enjoying sushi now. Not all of it, mind you, but there are bits here and there that I really like)
The sushi was quiet tasty, I'll probably be going back there at some point. Then from there we went on to play whirleyball, which kicked ass. Everyone seemed to have a great time, I think we'll probably go again in a month or two.
That evening Cabrini and I went to see Carlos Mencia live at the Moore Theater. We were really in the nosebleed section but it was fine, the show was hilarious. If he comes back to Seattle we'll probably be there (albeit I might shell out a bit more money for better seats next time)
Sunday we relaxed in the morning, I played some video games and we got ready for sunday night. That evening we went and saw Teatro Zinzanni, a sort of dinner theater/circus thing in downtown Seattle. It was truly awesome, I had an amazing time. This was all for zagumus 30th birthday, so, Happy birthday to you!
Monday I had the day off and spent it mostly relaxing, doing chores that got put off during the weekend, and such.
All in all it was a great time!"
I just want to add that there was a limo to the Teatro Zinzanni show and that was interesting and fun but also great that no one had to drove or park.
On Monday Patty, Vince and I all went to the free Flogging Molly concert at the UW and met up with John there, they were awesome, no really, really awesome.
Today I put the first few songs on my new I-pod, I can tell me and that little gadget are going to be great friends.
